1. HR Advice
ONE HR would act in support on human resources issues and matters for our client and all its employees in Hong Kong. ONE HR will create a dedicated hotline service for employees in a view to answering any relevant human resources / employment related matters that may arise anytime. The purpose of the hotline is to provide immediate attention and solutions to employees in order to ease the workload from management. It also serves as bridge of communication for the management to avoid direct conflicts with employees due to human resources issues.

Hotline services include:
General contract of employment / termination of contract of employment;
Wages calculations / payroll related questions;
Rest days, annual leave, holidays entitlement etc;
Notice period / non solicitation clause;
Advice on relevant statutory entitlements;
General HR enquires


2. Leave Management

ONE HR will assist the client to maintain leave record of all employees, which includes annual leave, sick leave, maternity leave etc. This is very crucial if the client does not implement e-leave system in Hong Kong office. ONE HR will create an email for client office. All employees and managers will provide annual leave records to ONE HR. ONE HR will also provide assistance on calculating leave entitlement and accrued annual leave pay for final payment. ONE HR will be responsible to maintain all correct record.


3. Work Visa Processing

ONE HR will assist in application and processing service for staff requiring employment visa status in order to be employed by the client. Our scope of service includes:

Document collection from candidate (work visa application)
Document collection from candidate family (dependent visa application)
Document preparation for our client
Document submission to Immigration
Application status follow up
Necessary consulting service required in relation to the application
Collection of work visa once approve
Visa renewal
Work visa termination



4. Documentation Review

ONE HR would assist the client to prepare new documentations or review existing templates with a view to confirm and comment on the effectiveness and competitiveness on adherence to current labor law and best practices.


Our scope of service includes:
Employment contract
Performance appraisal
Letter of confirmation of probation
Letter of termination
Reference letter
Transfer letter (for expat)



5. Expatriates Relocation Service

ONE HR would provide full range of expatriates relocations servicing to ensure the expat and family are well prepared before the transfer and well settled in Hong Kong.


Our scope of service includes:
Compare and arrange short term accommodation within budget set by client
Assist the expat to search for long term accommodation
Assist and provide information to the expat on schooling matters in Hong Kong
Provide one day tour to the expat to introduce Hong Kong culture and show around the nearby areas in the office
Assist the expat in all matters relating to relocation



6. Rental Reimbursement Program

Rental Reimbursement Program is a tax efficiency scheme which is designed to provide employees with a more tax efficient compensation package. ONE HR will assist our client to implement the rental reimbursement program and to structure the employee’s compensation package in a tax effective manner complying with the law and prevailing practice in Hong Kong.


Our scope of service includes:
Design and implement the tax efficiency scheme program for the client
Outline the program procedures and guide the employees on its eligibility on the rental reimbursement program
Prepare all necessary documentations including application form and claim form
Act as final checker to ensure all rental agreements and rental receipts are proper and valid for tax claims
Acknowledge employees’ receipts reconciliation to ensure all information and figures are true and valid for tax claims
Manage the program to ensure it comply with IRD rules and regulations



7. Annual Tax Filing

ONE HR would assist our client on its tax affairs in compliance with all Hong Kong Tax laws. ONE HR would assist out client to make relevant reporting the appropriate government authority their employees’ full amount of compensation, including pay and allowances. ONE HR would assist our client to prepare and submit an annual tax form IRD56B to the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) in Hong Kong, which confirms the gross income paid to employees in the Hong Kong tax year (1 April to 31 March).
